2014 Roundup/Merry Christmas/Happy New Year

As it's the day before Christmas Eve and I have a lot to do tomorrow I thought I'd post my Christmas/New Year blog post this evening, instead of forgetting to do it tomorrow.

In May I saw EofE support McBusted and decided there and then that I actually quite liked them, so much so that I remembered their name, came home, followed them online and then a few weeks later went back to meet them. Since then I've taken part in their video shoot, had a BBQ with them, watched them at Soccer Six, seen them twice on their own headline tour and do a few festive things. It's been a massive year for the band. They've joined both McBusted and The Vamps on their tours, they've completed their own headline tour, released some really good tunes, been featured in Kerrang and gained a member all in the space of a year. I've watched EofE go from strength to strength in the past year and I can't wait to see what 2015 brings for them and us (already some more amazing tunes by the looks of it and another support slot). I've made some super amazing new friends, maybe 2015 will bring me some more at the shows.

I'd like to use this post to just thank the lads really for a fun year. Since day one you've all been chatty and lovely and I've had a great time supporting you, and Reece since he joined. I think you're all really brilliant musicians and you deserve all of the great things that have happened so far. The new stuff sounded great on tour and I'm really looking forward to hearing how your hard work has paid off. You've come a long way this year, but I'm sure 2015 will bring lots of new adventures and success and I really hope it does. I'd also like to thank Mark for being the most helpful and caring band manager I have ever come across. It's always nice when you're on hand to help with any issues at venues or when you just stop to have a chat and are genuinely interested in chatting with us. I hope you all have a Christmas and New Year full of alcohol and smiles and I'll see you next year x
