Hello lovely members of the EofE Army, here we are, a blog post as promised bringing you all of the new information from EofE Land this week, all in one convenient blog post.
First things first, there has been NO cover Wednesday this week, so instead of writing about it I'm going to have to write about the lack of it (I suppose EofE can be forgiven due to the whole little tour thing). Seeing as there's nothing we can do about the lack of covah wednesday I suggest we put together a list of suggestions so that when the boys are back (Tom will appreciate that High School Musical reference) we can throw it at them and there will be no excuses. I'll start the list:
1) ANYTHING BY ALL TIME LOW please I'm not even fussed which song ANYTHING.
If you'd like to add to the list, tweet me your suggestions and we can write a list in order of popularity and take over the world: @dougies_pointer
Secondly, REECE.
This week saw the addition of Reece into EofE officially! (Follow him on twitter @EofEReece ) Reece is the new guitarist in EofE we found out in the twitcam. I'm yet to see him in action with the rest of the lads but I have found a couple of guest bloggers who will write about EofE supporting the Vamps (and therefore comment on Reece)
As I haven't met Reece yet there is no Meet Reece in this weeks blog, and there won't be next week either but hopefully next weekend I will finally meet this Reece bloke in brum and I'll bring you exclusive goss.
Number 3, EOFE TOUR
EofE announced this week that Vicky Jones (sister of Danny Jones of McFly) will be joining them for some of their tour dates as support (@Vix_Official)
And that's about it, just a reminder you can subscribe to my Spotify form of the "What EofE are listening to" playlist here:
What EofE are listening to
There have only been 2 nights of the Vamps tour so far, therefore no pictures or news or anything as of yet, however I'm sure I'll have a nice collection by next week.

EofE Weekly Roundup
Right, so I haven't posted on here in a while, and I was wondering what the best way to tackle this whole posting schedule would be. I've decided that seeing as Wednesday is Covah Wednesday I could use Thursday to be my posting day, as then, even if EofE have done nothing all week I can at least write about the most recent Cover Wednesday. (And if EofE don't do a cover wednesday you can all join me in complaining about the lack of Cover Wednesday and we can compile a list of what we want them to cover instead)
So, what have we seen in the EofE world this week then?
1) Reece. Who is Reece, what is a Reece, where is this Reece, why is there a Reece, HOW is there Reece? There's a mysterious guy called Reece and no one really knows anything, hmm
2) EofE got their hair done and a load of new clothes ahead of touring with the Vamps, gotta look like ROCK stars (I spy a lot of leather, the real question is though will Tom's jeans be more or less tight that before)
3) Cover Wednesday and a chance to be EofE's star guest - EofE did a cover of Can We Dance and even used the swear words because they are rock and not pop. I'll leave the video here for you where you can also find details of the competition:
(click here to see the video)
4) What EofE are listening to - EofE Updated their Youtube with another playlist of what they're listening to, however if you're anything like me you lack patience in waiting around for youtube videos to load, or want to listen to your songs in alphabetical order or I don't know, SO I've asked EofE if they can make a Spotify Playlist for us all, hence we will also see when it has been updated and it will be updated for us lazy music listeners automatically, however until then I've made a Spotify playlist for you all to sub to:
What EofE are listening to
5) Although this is OLD(ish) news some of you might not know that EofE now have a SNAPCHAT, despite not being that regular posters they do post the odd story and they are getting better and posting more, and will accept you if you add them, their username is eofeofficial
AND I think that is all for this week. Also as I'm not going to attend the Vamps tour I'm looking for anyone who is willing to take pictures and feature as a guest blogger and post their review of EofE supporting the Vamps with their pics and videos and whatever else they want to write so send me a tweet or something if you'd be willing!
Until next week,

SoccerSix Fest
So, as promised here is my blog post on SoccerSix featuring exclusive photos of the lads demonstrating their finest football 'skills' (or not as the pictures will later reveal) however first I think it's my duty to tell you all why you should NOT go to Soccersix in the future. (Just so they don't try and sue me or something these are all my opinions and you can't take anything as pure fact therefore I'm not lying I'm just saying how I felt about the day)
SoccerSix apparently is a charity football game full of your fav celebs, yet not once have I ever seen where any of the money goes, or even seen the mention of any form of charity. As for the celebs, if you're lucky enough to actually get near any of them, you then have to contend with hundreds of others in order to stand a chance of actually getting a picture with them or a word in. To add to that there were games happening on pitches people didn't even know existed, and were pretty difficult to get to and there weren't enough food and drink places.
The 'VIP' tickets, at about 48 pounds each, were a complete rip off. To say I felt mugged off would be an understatement. This is how they were advertised:
"Any of you lucky enough to get your hands on "VIP Festival Tickets" will be able to skip the standard queues and enter the stadium through the special VIP entrance. You'll also have access to the exclusive VIP areas ON THE PITCH before, during and after the tournament - which means even more chance to meet your favourite stars! VIPs also get to watch EXCLUSIVE VIP ONLY PERFORMANCES!"
Ok, so lets point out the lies in this rather appealing looking statement,

VIPs also get to watch EXCLUSIVE VIP ONLY PERFORMANCES!"
Ok, so lets point out the lies in this rather appealing looking statement,
- Skip the queues - The size of the VIP queue itself seemed a joke when we arrived, but okay we didn't get there early so you know you have to deal with things like that, however the STANDARD queue was moving a lot quicker than the VIP one, therefore the standard queues were skipping us...
- VIP areas on the pitch - Oh that sounds good doesn't it? On the pitch with your fav celebs?! Wrong. These areas can hardly be called 'on the pitch' when all the pitches are surrounded by barriers and fences
- Chances to meet your favourite stars - Oh yes this is what I'm paying for. Nope, there are hardly any chances to meet your favourite stars, with the VIP tickets being WAY oversold there are just far too many people everywhere to stand a chance of meeting your favourite stars
I've been to small charity football games, such as Les Mis V Phantom, which have been much better run, much more fun, for a much better cause and just a much more pleasant experience. So, the moral of this story is don't get mugged off by the massive games, support small charity football games, because trust me you'll enjoy it much more.
Now that I've done my good deed and warned you all about the evils of false advertising, we can get down to why bad organisation wasn't going to ruin my day, and why I still had a day full of smiles and banta and a little bit of football.
EofE not only did an AMAZING job in coming third at the football, but also did a fantastic job of keeping the 'EofE army' thoroughly entertained throughout the day by talking to us and taking pictures and joking around and taking our constructive criticism. I'll give you individual reports on each player, then we can go to the photos which is what most people want.
Player: Tom J Harris
Report: Yeah Tom actually played alright, he scored goals so I suppose that makes him good at football. He was seen running a few times and went after the ball. He let himself down though through his lack of goal celebrations. That was his time to shine and he just didn't take it.
Player: Dan Bremner
Report: I was already expecting Dan to be good at football because he used to play and he didn't disappoint us. Dan was really good and put a lot of effort in and was constantly chasing the ball and really going for it and doing a lot of the work. Go Dan, you win joint man of the match with Nicky from me.
Player: Nicky Waters
Report: Nicky was in goal and was saving some of the goals so that makes him good as well. He actually saved a lot of the shots I was watching. He even played an extra game for a team that wasn't his which makes him extra manly. Congrats on getting the EofEUnofficial joint man of the match with Dan!
Player: Luke Bradley
Report: Luke was 'defending' but he wasn't really. Despite all his talk of playing dirty he spent more time avoiding the ball than going for it. You're supposed to get the ball not dodge it, I think he thought he was in a dodgeball tournament. I was disappointed because I was hoping to see some slide tackles but they never happened. Also Luke was the only player to embrace the shirt tucked into shorts look.
Photos from the day:

Umm...
Star goalie
HASHTAG DAN DANCE, because dancing appears to be the new way to beat your opposition
Team EofE
Idk this is just a random mugshot.
Luke striking a pose because he's VOGUE
So that concludes my EofE match report however ALSO at SoccerSix I was given an EXCLUSIVE preview of some new EofE music, it's the EofE we love and know, and it's definitely not pop music (I don't know about you lot but I was a little bit worried in case they decided to abort mission and write to please the vamps fans but they haven't and the music is already sounding epic and like my kinda jam and I hear lots of guitar and it makes me happy) so YES we have some star footballers and some tour dates and some pretty promisingly good new music to look forward to! x
